2014 General Chapter Calendar

Retreat Days to Begin the General Chapter

Since the 2014 General Chapter will be a reflective and discerning process in setting the direction for the congregation during the coming years and in electing a new general superior and councilors, it was decided to have a three day Retreat on Discernment to begin the chapter experience. 
Fr. Geraldo Aste, SJ from Peru will give input and guide the chapter members during the retreat in coming to a deeper understanding of discernment and being open to God’s will, both personally and congregationally.

Pre-Chapter Meeting

Three days prior to the opening of the General Chapter from May 25-27, 2014, the congregational leadership team will meet with the general chapter delegates who were not present at the 2013 General Conference held in Namibia last year.  Since the conference agenda included many topics which will be addressed at the general chapter, these topics will be shared at this pre-chapter meeting so that the delegates come to the chapter having the same information.
